Arlene is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the states of Florida and Connecticut. She received a master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University in New York and relocated to Florida in 2007. Arlene has worked in the field of mental health and addiction for more than 25 years. She has provided individual, couple, and family therapy, and has facilitated psycho-therapeutic and psycho-educational groups in a variety of clinical settings.
Arlene utilizes an eclectic approach to treatment and has specialized expertise in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapeutic approaches. Her work is patient-centered and empowering. She specializes in drug and alcohol addiction (relapse prevention/recovery, anger management) and mental health issues (anxiety/depression, stress management, family/interpersonal relationships). Arlene brings to her patients a commitment to the achievement of their goals, on their journey to a life of sobriety and emotional well-being.
