We believe that by working collaboratively, we can help your loved ones make even more progress in treatment. Therefore, every couple of months we host our Family Weekend Program, where our patients’ families are invited to come and invest in their loved one’s recovery.

Many family members become so focused on the person with the addiction or psychiatric problem that they lose the ability to take care of themselves.

We bring to you expert guest speakers who open your eyes to many different aspects of addiction, mental illness, and recovery. Our treatment team, including our Medical Director and CEO Dr. Robert A. Moran, will answer all of your questions and provide you with information regarding the latest scientific updates on the evidence-based treatments we provide.
Goals of the Family Program
- Understand addiction and the brain
- Understand the signs and symptoms of psychiatric disorders
- Understand the impact addiction has had on themselves and their family
- Understand the treatment and recovery process
- Learn about 12-step programs: AA, NA, Al-Anon, Nar-Anon
- Identify and develop a recovery support system
- Develop healthy coping skills
- Improve communication and restore trust
- Help learn how to support a positive clean and sober lifestyle
