A Halfway House is a transitional living facility that works in conjunction with either day treatment or outpatient treatment. Sometimes called a Recovery House or Sober House, these residences allow for an individual to maintain the structure of a treatment program while reintegrating themselves back into the community. The Halfway House provides support and supervision of the individual to assist with the prevention of a relapse in recovery. There are many various types of halfway houses available depending on the individual needs and concerns.
The Halfway House provides a low rental opportunity for individuals to reintroduce themselves into the workplace while enabling them to build accountability and responsibility for their own well-being. Wellington Retreat has created partnerships with the various Halfway Houses including Men or Female only housing.
