Outpatient Treatment is usually characterized by its flexibility for individuals whom need to maintain their family, work or community responsibilities. Most facilities that offer outpatient treatment will provide only a psychiatric service dedicated to working with the mental illness, substance abuse or co-morbidity diagnosis. The outpatient treatment will consist of a varied number of days during the week at which the individual may attend individual, group or family therapy sessions. Those therapy sessions involve the treatment of a singular illness, not dual diagnosis or comorbidity diagnosis.
At Wellington Retreat, our Outpatient Treatment program encompasses working with the patient on all issues surrounding their mental illness and substance abuse. Wellington Retreat is able to offer the psychiatric application of normal Outpatient Treatment but we can also apply the medical needs of each patient adhering to a full treatment approach. Our ability to offer this full service Outpatient Treatment ensures that the individual is given the complete package of care and ensures a team effort towards recovery.
“‘Wellington has changed my life and made me grateful for so many things. It has opened my eyes to the bright and beautiful world that is not black and white, but full of color. I can’t thank you enough.’
