“Dr. Scott” brings a kind non-judgmental medical approach to the physiologic aspects of addictive disease. He draws upon 10 years’ experience as a private practice Neurologist to assure the safety of our patients’ medical needs. He keeps abreast of the latest studies, providing a critical review of the scientific literature about the neurobiology of addiction.
Dr. Scott Franczek received an MD and PhD from Baylor College of Medicine, in Houston, Texas. He completed his Medicine Internship, Neurology Residency (serving as Chief Resident), and Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Epilepsy Research at the University of Florida in Gainesville. His skills in electroencephalographic (EEG) mapping are being used to complement the cutting edge breakthroughs in quantitative EEG mapping to augment treatment with Neurofeedback. He is a well-respected speaker and advocate for patients with Epilepsy, Alzheimer’s and Addictive Disease. He is licensed in Florida and Texas.
